Mary Jackson, 89, of Creal Springs, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:23 pm at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
Mary was born May 12, 1926 in Ozark the daughter of Clarence F. and Fannie (Williams) Goodwin. She married William J. Jackson on August 16, 1946 and together they shared over 59 years of marriage until his death on June 28, 2006.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Abundant Life Assembly Church of Marion.
Survivors include her;
Son – Keith Jackson and wife Ann of Creal Springs
Son – Terry Jackson of Marion
Grandchildren;
Jamie Ferrell
Casey & Keala Jackson
Great Grandchildren;
McKager & McKayla Ferrell, Cole & Gracie Jackson
Preceded by her Parents, Husband – William Jackson, Brother – Stan Goodwin and Sister – Edith Smith
Funeral services will be Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11 am at Blue Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Russell and Rev. Tim Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow in Creal Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 10 am until the time of service at the funeral home.
For those who prefer memorials may be made to the Abundant Life Assembly of God Church or the New Burnside Community Church. Envelopes will be available and accepted at Blue Funeral Home, 1704 North Court Street, PO Box 411, Marion, Illinois 62959.
