Michele May Billingsley

Michele May Billingsley, age 62, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away Friday, January 21, 2022 at Herrin Hospital.

Michele was born on May 31, 1959, in Hammond, Indiana, a daughter of the late Virgil Ross and Martha (Green) Jenkins. She married the love of her life, Gary L. Billingsley on December 20, 1975 at the Busby Chapel in Goreville. Michele had worked as a certified pharmacy technician at Core Pharmacy in Marion for many years. She was a loving wife and proud mother and grandmother, cherishing all the time spent with her family. She will be dearly missed by all those that knew and loved her.

She is survived by her spouse Gary Lynn Billingsley of Goreville, IL; her mother- Martha Jenkins; three children, Nick (Amanda) Billingsley, Jennifer Jones, and Laura (Matt) Payne; three siblings, Angie (John) Pressley, Tammy (Ty Jones) Ross-Smith and Chester "Chip" (Dana) Ross; her Grandchildren, Preston and Breanna Billingsley, Grandchildren Jude and Waylon River Jones, Grandchildren Collen, Abigail and Alexandria Payne.

She is preceded in death by her father and one sister, Kim Ross.

Visitation will be Monday, January 24th, 2022 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville. Funeral Service will be held Monday, January 24, 2022, 1:00 PM at Blue Funeral Home - Goreville with Pastor Jason Forby and Rev. Kenny Blumenstock officiating. Burial will follow at Busby Cemetery in Goreville.
