Mildred Stapleton

Marion-Mildred Stapleton, 90, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Parkway Manor in Marion.

Mildred was born on May 8, 1928 in Creal Springs to Ezra and Lora (Allen) Lambert.  She married Robert Stapleton and he preceded her in death on May 26, 1993.

Mildred was a homemaker and loved quilting.  She was a member of Walnut Hill Church and enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Joan Swan; son, Paul Stapleton; brothers, Eugene Lambert and Raymond Lambert and sister, Dorothy Leiber.

Funeral services will be on Monday, April 15, 2019 at 1pm at Mitchell-Hughes Funeral Home with Rev. Keith Owens officiating.  Burial will follow at Zion Cemetery in Ozark.  Visitation will be on Monday from 11am until the time of service at the funeral home.
