Nancy Fasig

Marion-Nancy Ann Fasig, 81, passed away at 2:51pm on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. Nancy was born on August 25, 1934 in Arcola, IL to Robert Hugh and Charlotte (Lyons) Woolford.  She married Joe Allen Fasig on August 28, 1954 in Charleston.  He survives of Marion. Nancy worked in the Regional Office of Education for many years.  She enjoyed cooking, gardening and yardwork.  Nancy loved spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include: Husband-Joe Fasig of Marion Son-Fred Fasig of Charleston Son-Jim Fasig (Becky) of Charleston Daughter-Kathleen Mullen (Jeff) of St. Louis Daughter-Lisa Hudgens (Kerry) of Marion Daughter-Susan Mackin of Belleville 11 grandchildren Five great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents Per Nancy's wishes, graveside services will be private family only at Mounds Cemetery in Charleston, IL with Father Urban Osuje officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday, April 16, 2016 from 3pm-6pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.
