Nicey Nadine Scholes

PITTSBURG-Nicey Nadine Scholes, 58, of Pittsburg, passed away at 6:30 AM, Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, January 29, 2005 at Lakeview Cemetery in Johnston City with Reverend Bob Fitzpatrick officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, Friday, January 28, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion. Mrs. Scholes was born on August 23, 1946 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to Bascum and Nellie (Parton) Barnett. She married Clarence Everett Scholes on June 17, 1984, he preceded her in death on July 12, 2003. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jesse and Birdie Barnett of Pittsburg; daughter, Debbie Scholes of Pittsburg; step-children, Mary Anglin of Mt. Olive, Sharon Gutterman of Collinsville, Karen Roberts of Albertsville, Minnesota, Sandy Krause of Granite City, and Teddy Dean Scholes of Marion; fourteen grandchildren; and several great grandchildren. Mrs. Scholes was a homemaker. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
