Norma J. Spees

Marion-Norma J. Spees, 81, passed away on Friday, December 22, 2017 at her home. Norma was born on July 31, 1936 in Herrin to Theodore and Ethel (Schneider) Rosenberger. She married Charles Spees on June 15, 1957. He preceded her in death on September 12, 2013. Norma was a noon supervisor at Washington School. She was a devoted grandmother and loved her grandchildren. Survivors include: Children: Terry Spees of Marion Tommy Spees of Marion Todd Spees of FL Daughter-in-law-Tammy Stewart of Crab Orchard Grandchildren: Sarah Rose Ryan Charles Lauren Jacob Ty Alex Great grandchildren: Ellanora Evelyn Lydia Ella June Brother-Ted and Wanda Rosenberger of Herrin She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Tim Spees; three brothers and one sister. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 1pm at Rose Hill Cemetery. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery. Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements. 55
