Pamela McCormick-Boomer

Energy-Pamela J. McCormick-Boomer, 73, passed away on Thursday, December 5, 2019 at Helia Healthcare in Energy.

Pamela was born on September 23, 1946 in Carbondale to Guy and Dorothy (Springhart) Carter.  She married James McCormick and he preceded her in death and then she married Bill Boomer and he also preceded her in death. Pamela worked as an X-ray clerk at Marion Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include:

Daughters-Bobbie and Rodney Emery of Marion and Julie and Jimmy Beasley of Marion

Sister-Chris and James Grant of Marion

Grandchildren:

Evan Emery

Dustin Emery

Devin Beasley

Erin Tite

Great granddaughter-Aliah Tite

Nieces-Lindsay Robinson and Natalie Dobbs

She was preceded in death by her parents and husbands, James and Bill.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 9, 2019 at 6pm at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Steve Glenn officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4pm until the time of service.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Marion High School Strive Program and will be accepted at the funeral home.
