Patricia E. Kraniewski

Patricia E. "Pat" Kraniewski, age 87, of Marion, Illinois,  passed away Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at Integrity Health Care in Marion, Illinois.

Patricia was born October 3, 1935 in Carterville, Illinois, a daughter of Leon and Lorene (Foster) Hampton.  Pat grew up in Carterville, IL and graduated Carterville High School.  After she graduated she worked in a factory in the Ordill area.  She later worked for the city of Marion as a secretary at Homer Butler Hi-Rise, and later for Edwards Mobile Home Sales.  Pat loved being outdoors, mowing, walking etc.   She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Marion.  She loved her church family and volunteered much of her time to the church.  She always made meatloaf for church functions and funeral lunches.  One of Pat's most important things was her love for Pepsi Cola.  

She is survived by one Step-son, Rick (Donna) Kraniewski of Marion, IL; one brother, Ronnie Hampton of Waterloo, IL; and her Step-grandchildren, Lindsey Kraniewski, Kate Kraniewski,  Collette Bowlby, her aunt Elaine Claunch of Carterville, IL, Special cousin Sarah Odum, several Nieces & Nephews, several Cousins, special friend Imogene Edwards, and friend Tonya Woodsum.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Leon and Lorene Hampton.

Graveside services will be held Friday, May 12, 2023, 2:00 PM at Rose Hill Cemetery.
