Pauline Spiller GOREVILLE- Pauline Spiller, 80, of Goreville passed away at 5:47 AM, Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Pastor R. G. Null officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, Saturday, June 18, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Cana Cemetery in Goreville. Mrs. Spiller was born on October 6, 1924 in Goreville, Illinois to Claude and Myrtle Schuey. She married Bon Spiller and he preceded her in death. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Gaynell Spiller of Emporia, Kansas; son, Sam Spiller of Phoenix, Arizona; and grandchildren, Kate, Jody and Cory. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother Leonard Schuey who died in World War II. Pauline attended Cana School as a young child, where she walked to school everyday. Pauline`s parents started Schuey Orchards and worked it until the 1940`s when Pauline and her husband took over the business. Together they ran the orchard for many years and later sold it to Barry Eastman and it became Eastman`s Orchard, as it remains to this day. Pauline was a Christian and a very hard working lady.
