Peggy Jennings

Goreville-Peggy Lee Jennings, 67, passed away on Tuesday, May 03, 2016 at Herrin Hospital. Peggy was born on March 25, 1949 in Glen Alum, WV to Thomas and Ellen (Noe) Nichols. She enjoyed gardening and writing where she authored a book.  Peggy loved music and dancing; she had tremendous faith and the prettiest yard in Goreville.  Peggy will be missed by all that knew her.  She was a loving mother, “Mimi” and sister. Survivors include: Son-Chris Schmidtke of Goreville Daughter-Tammy Kingsbury and husband Travis of Hendersonville, TN Daughter-Alisa Wyatt and husband Jesse of Kansas City, MO Grandchildren-Kyle Schmidtke; Raiynn Schmidtke; Aubrey Kingsbury and Jasper Kingsbury Sister-Sharon Manier and husband Carl of Goreville Best neighbor-Terry Lambert She was preceded in death by her parents and nephews, Darren Nichols and Jason Armstrong According to her wishes, Peggy will be cremated.  Private services will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
