Peggy Miller

Marion-Peggy Miller, 72, of Marion, passed away at 7:25am on Monday, November 23, 2015 at her home. Peggy was born on July 24, 1943 in Marion to Howard and Nora (Bulliner) Neber.  She married Kenneth Miller on January 1, 1980 in Anna.  He preceded her in death on January 18, 2010. She was a member of Christian Liberty Church in Goreville for many years.  She will be dearly missed by her friends and family. Survivors include: Daughter- Sherry Franks and husband James of Marion Son- Allen Rix and wife Sherry of Carbondale Son- Tom Rix and wife Kathy of Lake of Egypt Daughter- Stephanie Modglin of Marion Eight Grandchildren: Anthony, Aadam and Aaron Franks Joseph Rix Brandon and Ryan Rix Austin and Shelby Modglin Five Great Grandchildren plus one on the way Sister- Betty Hudgens of Marion Sister- Teresa Waterhouse and husband John of Goreville Several nieces and nephews She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter- June Ellen Rix and two brothers. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Blue Funeral Home in Marion.  Pastor Darrell Wimberly will officiate.  Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.  Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until time of service, Wednesday at the funeral home.
