Raymond David Norris

Marion-Raymond “David” (Boogie) Norris, 60, passed away at 8pm on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at St. Louis University Hospital. David was born on October 13, 1958 in Marion to Raymond and Mary Belle (Hill) Norris. He was the life partner of Dawn Griebe.  They shared many years of partnership together. David attended Marion High School. He was a hardworking man.  David enjoyed working on cars, watching old westerns and the history channel but most of all, spending time with family.  He will be remembered for being quiet, stubborn and set in his ways. David is survived by: Life partner-Dawn Griebe Daughter-Brittany Griebe Son in law-David Dunham Grandchildren: Kegan Knight Kara Clark Aryan Adams Makristen Lindsey Devon Pierce Sisters: Linda Lindsey Rita Burnett Louise McRoy Brother-Butch Norris He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents and sister, Mary Ann Bozarth Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 17, 2018 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Rev. Joe McRoy officiating. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be on Monday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.
