Richard J. Vaughn

Goreville-Richard J. Vaughn, 69, passed away on Saturday, January 4, 2020 at his home.

Richard was born on September 16, 1950 in Elizabethtown to James and Norma Jean (Brittain) Vaughn.  He married Denise LaFrey and she survives.

Richard was a carpenter by trade out of Chicago Local 1.  He was a musician and enjoyed fishing and spending time with family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Russell Vaughn and sister, Melissa (Lisa) Vaughn.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 11am at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville with Rev. Dr. Troy Benitone officiating.  Visitation will be on Saturday from 10am until the time of service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
