I miss you Daddy. You were the best Dad that a girl could ever have. You gave me so many amazing memories to replay in my head and I will cherish them forever. I never expected to lose you so soon and suddenly. You survived, when most wouldn't have before. You even shocked your doctors. I'm so glad that you stuck around to meet all of your grandchildren. They have grown so much in these last couple of years. They are smart, talented, kind, and just wonderful human beings. I'm sure that you know that already. I love you always and will always miss you. Until we meet again, I will forever have a fracture in my heart that was made on that Saturday morning on January 4th when you left this world.

Richie was one of my oldest and best friends. We had an amazing life journey together. His death has made me reflect on so many things. I feel the need to join Denise and the rest of his family at his memorial, and so I will be making the 5 hour trek to Goreville from Chicago to be there. I think Richie would want me there.
