Richard Wayne Travelstead

Richard Wayne Travelstead, 61, passed away on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at his home.

Richard was born on October 2, 1959 in Benton to Robert Wayne Travelstead and Anna Rosetta (Gruber) Travelstead.  He married Kimberly Ann Lehr on May 24, 1991 in Marion.

Richard retired from the military and worked at the VA.

Step brother-Timmy Gruber

He was preceded in death by his parents; step mother, Wanda Travelstead; sister, Tina Marie Travelstead.

Richard’s wishes were to be cremated.  A celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Goreville is assisting the family with arrangements.
