Robert Avery

Marion- Robert Avery, 86, passed away April 6^th 2015 at 9:55pm at his home. He was born September 9, 1928 to Joseph Avery and Cecil (Overstreet) in Marion. He married Ann Horn. She survives of Marion. Robert was a tool and dye maker, pipe fitter, carpenter and a mechanic. He was also a Master Mason of Lodge 89 AF and AM for 65 years and was a member Woodman of the World and a member of the carpenter local union. He survived by his wife Ann Avery; daughters, Robin F. and Junie Avery of Benton and Cara and Mark Lewis of Marion; his grandchildren, Kyle and Amanda Avery, Brian and Rachelle Lewis, B.J. Lewis, Kaci Avery and Chip Moss; along with his great-grandchildren, Drake Moss, Max Avery, Adrianna Avery, Maura Lewis and Camilla Cluck. He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Jeff Avery. It was Robert’s wishes to be cremated. No service will be held. Memorials may be given to his wife and for her care and will be accepted at Blue Funeral Home located at 1704 N. Court St in Marion, IL 62959.
