Roy Kennedy

Marion-Roy L. Kennedy, 82, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Good Samaritan in Mt. Vernon. Roy was born on October 18, 1934 in Marion to Chester and Osa (Keele) Kennedy. He married Rosemary Hodge on August 24, 1960 in Marion. She preceded him in death on June 28, 2012. Roy served in the U.S. Airforce. He worked as a Union Painter for many years and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Survivors include: Son-David and Jody Kennedy of Marion Grandchildren-Corey Kennedy and Kaci Kennedy Sister-Twila Nance of Simpson Roy participated in the upbringing and joy of multiple nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brother, Harold Kennedy and sister, Hazel Lewis A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 1:30pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints/17947 Rt. 37N/Johnston City.
