Sandra Elaine Stevenson

Goreville-Sandra Elaine Stevenson, 69, passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Herrin Hospital. Sandra was born on December 5, 1946 in Fredericktown, MO to Willie Lloyd and Juanita (Parson) Filer.  She married Rev. O. Dean Stevenson on October 9, 1963 in Madison and he preceded her in death on September 23, 2009. Sandra loved spending time with her family and enjoyed watching wrestling with her grandkids. Survivors include: Son-Jim and Kimberly Stevenson of Goreville Grandsons-Cody Stevenson; Will Stevenson; Caleb Frisz and Matthew Frisz Sister-Cynthia and Steve Freeland of Johnston City Sister-in-law-Jacqueline Filer of TN She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Keith Filer and Mark Allen Filer. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1pm at Friendship Cemetery in Goreville with Rev. Ed Wheeler officiating.  Visitation will also be on Saturday from 11am-12:30pm at Blue Funeral Home in Goreville.
