Sharon Burns

MARION-Sharon L. Burns, 59, of Marion passed away at 12:10 PM, Monday, May 16, 2005 at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, May 19, 2005 at the Blue Funeral Home in Marion with Reverend Jerry Lingle officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Coal Bank Springs Cemetery, Dykersburg. Mrs. Burns was born on June 13, 1945 in Marion to Laverne and Eva (Connett) Harris. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Kristie Cox of Marion; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Donna Harris and Mike and Sharon Harris all of Marion; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean Hundley, Phyllis and Melvin Presley and Pam and R.D. Starrick all of Marion; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Burns formerly worked at Bonanza Restaurant as a hostess. She was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.
