Shirley Ann Barlow

Shirley Ann Barlow, age 74, of Goreville, Illinois, passed away at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at her home.

Shirley was born on April 27, 1946 in Marion, a daughter of William Pete and Lorraine (Cooksey) Hindman. She married Michael L. Barlow in Paducah, Kentucky on February 14, 1996, and he survives. She worked as a dental assistant and as an LPN.

Survivors include her husband, Michael L. Barlow of Goreville; son, Donnie (Charlotte) Smoot of Marion; daughter, Melissa (Jimmy) Rix of Marion; grandchildren, Brody Smoot, Evan Smoot, Maddi Rix and Nolan Rix all of Marion.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and sister, LaCeena Stroub.

Graveside services will be held at Cocke Cemetery on Monday, December 14, 2020 with Randy Kniffen officiating.

Visitation will be held at Blue Funeral Home Marion on Monday, December 14, 2020 from 10:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.

Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with the arrangements.
