Taylor Vaughn

Freeman Spur-Taylor Marie Alexandria Vaughn, 24, passed away on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Taylor was born on December 29, 1993 in Carbondale to Jason Lence and Jennifer Oliver. She married Tyler Vaughn on April 12, 2013 at Lick Creek Pentecostal Fellowship Hall. Taylor attended Southern Illinois Worship Center and enjoyed singing. She loved being a mom and taking care of her children. Taylor touched so many lives and will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved her. Survivors include: Husband-Tyler Vaughn of Freeman Spur Children-Braxton Tyler Vaughn, Gannon Alexander Vaughn and Olivia Taylor Vaughn Mother-Jennifer Oliver of Herrin Father-Jason and Jana Lence of Herrin Brother-Hayden Robert Lence of Herrin Sister-Mackenzi Hodge of Herrin Maternal grandparents-Ed Oliver of the Lake of Egypt and Sheila Taylor of Johnston City Paternal grandmother-Brenda Lence of Herrin She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, Robert Lence; brother, Gavin Lence; maternal great grandparents, William and Grace Oliver, Agnes Taylor and Charles Gibbs A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 4pm at Southern Illinois Worship Center in Herrin with Pastor Heather Morrow officiating. Visitation will be on Saturday from 2pm-4pm at the church.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
