William Mappin

William Homer Mappin, 65, passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.

William was born on June 21, 1955 in Jacksonville, IL to Gerald Jack and Joy June (Brush) Mappin. 

William was a U.S. Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed playing his guitar, walking his dogs at the high school and spending time with his family and friends.

Son-Rusty Mappin

Sisters-Sally and Steve Ward and Cindy and Phil Royster

Brothers-Tim and Sheila Loyd and Jeff and Peggy Mappin

Many animals that he loved

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Cindy.

William’s wishes were to be cremated.  A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Blue Funeral Home in Marion is assisting the family with arrangements.
